About me

My name is Gwen and I’m a tabletop RPG enthusiast from Belgium. I have been fascinated by fantasy for as long as I can remember. I discovered tabletop roleplaying games much later, but once I did, I never looked back.

For more than ten years, I’ve been blessed (or cursed) with the role of Forever GM, running mostly Dungeons & Dragons and Legend of the Five Rings campaigns.

I also studied medieval history, a subject that continues to influence the way I approach worldbuilding. The politics, cultures, economies, and everyday lives of historical societies often provide far more inspiration than any fantasy novel.

Lumaesyl is the homebrew world I created for a D&D campaign I started with a group of friends. It was never meant to become this large. Over time, however, the world kept growing as new stories unfolded and new ideas emerged. Eventually, I realized that neither my players nor I would ever have enough time to explore every corner of Lumaesyl and uncover all of its secrets.

So I decided to open the archives.

Here, you’ll find worldbuilding articles, Game Master resources, and pieces of Lumaesyl itself. I hope it will inspire your own worlds, adventures, and stories.
